Who I Am

I’m Gift McLaren, a former national-level sprinter turned performance coach, with over 10 years of experience helping adults rebuild strength, drop fat, and feel in control of their body again.

 

I’ve coached people across all levels, from busy professionals and parents to retirees and rehab clients. I’ve seen how easily life (injuries, stress, age) can knock people off track, and how the right plan can bring them back stronger than ever.

I’ve also been a full-time carer for my disabled niece. That taught me more about the human body and what it really means to be strong and functional,  than any qualification ever could.

My background in sprinting and sports science gives me an edge in biomechanics, speed, and movement. But my real skill is helping everyday people get results safely.

  • The fitness industry overcomplicates what should be simple.

  • People over 50 don’t need harder workouts, they need smarter ones.

  • Real change comes from structure, not intensity.

  • You don’t need motivation, you need momentum.

My methods are simple, boring, and unsexy. But they work.
